Professional fees for criminal matters in the Supreme Court are:

• $290.00 per hour plus GST
• $2,320.00 per day plus GST for the first 8 hours and then the hourly rate thereafter
• Travel costs are set out in in the Scale of Fees for Summary and Regulatory Matters

As to hourly and daily rates

Where the matter is subject to a grant of legal aid then the professional fee is set by the legal aid grant.
